The Yale Collaboration for Regulatory Rigor, Integrity, and Transparency (CRRIT) is an interdisciplinary initiative which conducts strategic regulatory science research that advances policy, promotes transparency, and informs medicine and public health to protect patients.

Specifically, Yale CRRIT:
Conducts high-priority research that evaluates regulatory policy and decision-making made by federal health agencies like the FDA and CMS.
Translates evidence into action by directly engaging with policymakers, including through Congressional testimony, formal public comments, and legal advocacy to ensure that the voices of patients and clinicians are heard where policy decisions are made.
Drives real-world impact through op-eds in national media and engagement with health professional societies and patient advocacy organizations.

Big Ideas,
Real Impact.
